Envelopes need love, too

Between birthdays/holidays/babies/weddings, I often find myself sticking a check in the mail to one of my friends for a group gift/party/flower-sending. Occasions like these don't really require a long letter, but it also seems like a shame to use an ugly security envelope and just slap on the address. So I went searching for prettier ways to mail a letter!

These nice & bright labels from Calamari Studios will assure your photos & letters arrive safely!

Parcel & Paper has lovely mailing supplies, my favorite being the striped twine. I love this kit of goodies!

Buy these and other groovy nostalgic envelopes here

And my favorite idea is to buy unused US postage stamps and collage them on envelopes until they add up! See beautiful examples like this from Inviting Affairs (Invitation Design Studio in Austin, Texas)

You can purchase great sets from Verde Studio on Etsy.

  1. Totally agree, as I loathe sending ugly things to friends in the mail. What fabulous finds, and such a fabulous blog, too! Thanks so much for the feature!
